Wendy has multiple certifications in the association management industry. She possesses national certifications through Community Associations Institute as an Association Management Specialist as well as a Certified Manager of Community Associations. In addition she possesses a California Certified Community Association Manager designation. Wendy serves as President of the Orange County Regional Chapter of Community Associations Institute and is a Delegate Member, and has served on the Executive Board, of the California Legislative Action Committee for Community Associations Institute.
Wendy currently serves as a Mission Viejo City Commissioner as Chair of the Community Services Commission. She also serves on the Board of the South Orange County Regional Chamber of Commerce and is Chair-Elect. Wendy was the recipient of the Advocate of the Year Award presented at the 2011 SOCO Awards at the Regional Cities Ball due in large part to her extraordinary efforts in regional issues. She serves on OC Supervisor Patricia Bates Annual Senior Summit Planning Committee.
Other Community and Civic organizations she has been involved in include: California Womens Leadership Association, Capistrano Valley Federation of Republican Women, past Vice President, Ways & Means; Orange County Federation of Republican Women Board and Southern Division Student Advocacy Chair, Mission Viejo High School Aquatic Boosters past President, Mission Viejo High School Grad Night Past Committee Chair and she mentored the MVHS Republican Club. She has also been a regular volunteer in her children’s classrooms, at Mission Viejo Nadadores Swim Meets, at community events such as the Mission Viejo Red Ribbon Walk and the Oso Creek Cleanup.
Wendy has been a long time member of the Mission Viejo Nadadores Masters Swim team. She resides in Mission Viejo with her husband Paul and son, and has a daughter (Mission Viejo High School Alumni) who attended University of the Pacific on an athletic scholarship, recently married and resides in Northern California. Paul, Wendy and their family are involved at Presbyterian Church of the Master in Mission Viejo.
